Mijn naam is Yente van der Veen, ik ben 21 jaar en ik woon sinds de zomer van 2022 in Groningen. Ik ben opgegroeid (met mijn ouders en zusje) in Winsum, ik heb mijn VWO-diploma behaald op het Werkman Stadslyceum in Groningen en ik volg nu de Engelstalige studie Spatial Planning and Design aan de RUG. Bij deze bachelor staan ruimtelijke planning en ruimtelijk ontwerpen centraal en leer je meer over infrastructuur-, milieu- en watermanagement. De studie bevalt me erg goed, met name het designcomponent vind ik een erg leuk onderdeel! Anderen omschrijven mij als een sportieve, rustige, onafhankelijke en vrolijke meid. Ik vind het leuk om met anderen te kletsen en een drankje te doen, maar ik vind het ook fijn om op mijn eigen kamer te relaxen. Mijn hobby's zijn o.a. hockey, skiën, reizen, het kijken naar voetbal, hockey en de grandprix en social media. Ik ben lid van een commissie van de faculteitsvereniging en ik ben bij de hockeyclub betrokken als scheidsrechter en lid van de PR commissie.

Therefore I’m looking for a room in Groningen. I’m open for anything, could be a shared household, a studio or even an apartment with up to 3 bedrooms. Nadat ik dit jaar afgestudeerd ben aan mijn HBO Commerciële economie in Zwolle, ga ik volgend jaar beginnen aan mijn pre-master marketing aan de RUG. Na de pre-master begin ik aan de master Marketing management. Naast mijn studie ben ik regelmatig op het voetbalveld te vinden of bezig met andere sporten. Daarnaast hou ik ervan om gezellige dingen te doen met vrienden. Tijdens mijn vorige studie heb ik ervoor gekozen om nog in Steenwijk te blijven, maar het lijkt me nu juist leuk om een toffe kamer te vinden met chille huisgenoten. Daarom lijkt het me ook leuk om wekelijks samen te eten of leuke dingen te doen. I find fun in many activities from my hobbies like volleyball, boardgames and being in a band but also new ones that my new housemates could show me. Na dit seizoen kan ik dit niet combineren, dus ben van plan hier mee te STOPPEN. In het weekend naast de wedstrijd houd ik van drankjes doen in de stad, of leuke activiteiten doen met vrienden.
